cheapest is the way I did it:

BUY a HP PDA (mine a HP5550) (£100)
BUY a small blue tooth GPS unit (£40)
Holder (£10)
TT Software: Dodge copy (£25) Proper (£75)
Bobs ya uncle SAT NAV.
(Means you also get a pda device aswell for everything else you need.)

Or buy a TOM TOM KIT FOR £399.99 Which one ya gonna do lol

I PREFER IT ASWELL USING A PDA AS YOU DONT HAVE TO HAVE IT IN THE WINDOW, I HAVE MINE WHERE THE CIG LIGHTER WOULD BE. WILL TAKE PHOTOS TO SHOW YA LATER MATE

Hi thinking of getting sat nav in my car. After seeing my mate with sat nav on his xda 2 phone.

Basically whats the cheapest way of doing it?
A standalone system?
or getting a 'smart phone' and buying a gps mouse (plus the sat nav software 'tomtom' which i can get for free'.

Anybody?
