i do have an old ati rage fury maxx 64mb card... but i remember having problems with xp with it before :( | |

And yours might not support dynamic texture and lighting, which most games seem to require these days. | |

Unless you do upgrade your motherboard, it's not worth suggesting a replacement graphics card unless you specify if your current motherboard is PCI-only, AGP, or PCI-Express... | |

Get the old (but still pretty powerful) Radeon 9800 Pro. They go quite cheap nowadays, and also consider getting a new motherboard. The ABIT AI7 is the one i have, and its never done me wrong. All together, about £120-£160. You're bound to find a deal somewhere. | |

Yeah for any decent up to date games you will need a stand alone card of at least 128mb and up | |

just got doom 3 but it doenst work on my pc! says my gfx aint good enough :( |
