yeah this is what i intend to do greg, just wasnt sure if i needed a certain card, or just the cheaped one would do :)

if you put you xbox through your computer, as you will have to, other than buying a router. as aol modem doesnt provide and ethernet conection on its modem. you'll need a cross over cable (network cable) conected to the xbox, and the network card in the computer.

then configure the netword conection of intenet sharing

**which uses Internet Connection Sharing [ICS]. This is where you connect your gaming console to your existing AOL Broadband computer. You will need to use a special Ethernet cable (known as cross-over cable), plugging it into a spare Ethernet port on your computer and sharing the connection using Internet Connection Sharing**


can some tech minded person point out the kind of card i would need, as i have no ethernet slots on pc, or will any (even the cheapest) pci ethernet card do the job?
