Yes.
Get DMG2ISO and it'll make it PC accessible, when burned it should still be Mac readable.
Most fail safe way to burn a Mac image is, of course, with a Mac.

using http://www.google.co.uk I found out it is a MAC image file.

then using the above search engine I found this http://www.computing.net/hardware/wwwboard/forum/29817.html

does anyone know what a .dmg file is and how to unpackage it, or is it an executable file type?
