It's likely the laptop can't play that type of DVD. | |

there is dvd +r and dvd-R aint there | |

Hiya mate. I had a similarnproblem when I recorded a programme then tried to play it on my brothers dvd player and it wouldn't. Turns out I'd not finalised the disk on the recorders editing function. Didmthat and it played fine. | |

prob cos ure laptop is not multi region or -r, -rw, +r, ram compatible what format did you record the dvd player in?? | |
