your choices are:

learn how to build one, its not very hard but you will learn alot.

buy a pre-done machine from the likes of dell/ibm/pc world and never have to worry.

Get a local computer shop/mate to build it to your specification.

Lots of people can supply/build them for you, I for one.

dont listen to any chump that advises you goto pc world

[Edited on 22-11-2004 by GSiSteve]

If someone wants the easiest solution Steven, I will suggest it, even though they will rip your pockets out you will get a PC + Warranty + steps for retarded users.

prove me wrong?

Build your own for small money. MSI K8 Neo mobo, AMD athlon 3000XP, 1gb DDR 400mhz, Geforce 6600/ATI 9800..., 160GB Seagate Barracuda. Will set you back about 400-500 big ones.

Can someone reccommend me a cheapish PC...

Mainly use for downloading MP3's and Videos, some video editing, and playing MP3s and videos. ALready have a DVD writer so doesnt have to have that.
