Yesh, the MP10 online stores are useless. iTunes is definitely the way forwards.

quote: hahahaha  i would talk to a few locals that have pianos mate and see who they suggest, as theres nothing worse than a piano tuner totally screwing with your piano :(

We phoned one guy, told him the list of things it wants - complete tune, couple of strings, hammer adjustments, bit of work on the peddles. The woodwork is OK. He didn't turn up

back on topic though, MP is cack personally. Its very bloated for a simple media player, hence why i use winamp 2.8 with a few plugins for video stuff...and works well

quote: get in tuned mate :) will cost you 50 quid (or there abouts) and you have to do it atleast once a year, but its worth it :) But yea, grab yourself a copy of Cool Edit (not the new version by Adobe, its cack) and you can pitch shift stuff. Although the easiest would be Acid Pro 4 by Sonic Foundary (been bought out by someone else now, but you can still "buy" the old better versions) :) edit - also one tip for anyone with a piano, make sure the room its in stays at a fairly constant temperature and place a small tub of water inside the piano if its an upright, as it will make the piano sound better :) If its a grand or baby, then the room temperature has to been fairly warm, otherwise you end up with a shite sounding piano costing a few grand :( [Edited on 09-10-2004 by VisibleMan]

Sorry to hijack the thread but can it shift the pitch of music that you're playing?

The big selling point in MP10 is that you can connect to online shops... yet none came up when I tried. Waste of time IMHO.
