I'd personally get a wireless router on the end of your broadband connection, then you've no need for any wires to the lappy.

It's got a network port on the side normal CAT5 connector, and has Broadcom WiFi as well (for wireless networking I presume).

So would I only need to just get a bit of CAT5 cable then? No modem required?

ive got an external usb modem with btbroadband. Depends how you connect mate...if its through a network card on a desktop then most laptops will have a network port on them...so its just a matter of installing the software and away you go.

Do I need to buy a USB ADSL modem or would my laptop have this built in? I don't really know much about laptops so any help would be most appreciated!
