Removal of windows messenger is under the add/remove COMPONENTS part of control panel, not the add/remove programs. It works fine on SP1 and SP2. | |

IF you've got XP Pro, you can set a policy to ban it from opening. | |

Just upgraded to 6.2 and when i go to sign in it says u have been disconnected as u signed in at another location... i know xp comes with messenger installed but it dosent appear in the add/remove function in control panel... how do i disable the previous install of messenger????????? |
