ahhh...i was thinking that it was 2.5" lappy drives, but i wasnt sure if it was a mini pc or not. Yea your gonna struggle to get anything massive. 40gigs is about the norm, 60/80 are also available, but i think thats lot :(

cheapest 40gig lappy drive ive seen recently was 90 odd quid :( but yea, ebay it mate...will be your best bet, unless you can find a fooked up laptop with a working drive in it, which might be cheaper...

ah you're using laptop drives. Well just get the biggest 2.5'' you can afford and run on your system. Or you could just sell me your complete system?

As long as the system bios is of recent (last few years) you will be able to fit anything up to 250gig without much trouble, after that you start to run into a few problems, but new bios's are capable of going in TeraBytes

Also i wouldnt go with a portable unit, becuase 1) its means another unit that has to be fitted and 2) they are that great in absorbing shocks

cheers mate, forgot to say its 2.5" so costs a lot more

i run all my vids off cds as i dont have much room ATM. 40 gig would be well enough, seen them on ebuyer etc for 60 notes- will any 2.5" one do??

can i sell my 10 gig one too?? the PC is very very small (half the size of a PS2 so no room for expansion :()

depending on the spec of your pc you'll be able to simply upgrade the existing hard drive or stick a second hard drive in - one master one slave. What processer speed you running?

ok i have 40 gig of music that i want to have on my home PC and car PC but my car pc is only 10 gig

i was looking at portable hard drives, 40 gig ones from maplins for 100 notes that use usb to power/get info

or i can upgrade my car PC hard drive to 40 gig (only 10 at mo)

any other way?
