	advice here seems good. I think theres a free version of Zonealarm which will do what you want, has a friendly interface not too bad to start off with :) Black ice is good, have to get a registered copy though cough. I use to have that running on my girlfriends computer, nice and easy to use and maintain.

	zonealarm is free and pretty good,i think it has an email scanner aswell. after removing 36 viruses (including trojans and keyloggers) and 300 spyware items from a mates computer i cannot stress enough the importance of using firewalls and up to date anti virus programs (avg do a free one). use these 3 they are free: - adaware (spyware remover) zonealarm (firewall) avg antivirus (doh antivirus) keep them all updated........;)

	AS above preferably a free one or one i can get from kazza. Been told that zonealarm is good or apparently google do one?? Any ideas appreciated :thumbs:
