riteo. Cheers reedy for all ur help. I'm slowly getting there. Well pleased with the new computer now. So much quicker than the old one and a good price to i think.

Also hard drives arent bought with ntfs :lol:
When u format ure hard drive it gives u the option to set it to ntfs or fat 32, fat32 is more dos based whereas ntfs is windows based:thumbs:

ah thats me behind the times. Must of bin a couple of years ago when i remember FAT 32 being the new hard drive formatting. lol.

no, fat32 is the old style hard drive formatting.

my new hard drive is currently in NTFS format running windows XP. Isn't FAT 32 meant to be better?
