Been looking at that one too. Gonna look for some benchmarks tomorrow and then decide. It's a choice of the 2 really. The 9800 256MB one is a bit too pricey at the mo. Deffo time for a new card tho

I think it's gonna be the ATI 9700 128 MB as they are going for around £100 on eBay.

I've had this ATI card for around 4 years and had no probs so i'm prob gonna get another ATI. Bought a cheap NVIDIA card for another system i have which is no bad for £15 but i do like ATI. Got an S3 card in my laptop but that is REALLT shit i have gotta say!

i have a geforce one at the moment and have had nothing but hassle with the drivers

was contemplating getting a radeon 9600 but just before i went to order i had another look at the nvidia site and they had new drivers and that has done me well! :D

ATI you get better performance for your money...

NVIDIA are getting some serious competition now from ATI.

I'm lookin at getting a Radeon 9800 XT sometime soon, compared results & benchmarks from both ATI & NV cards, and ATI was the better out of the 2!

BUY ATI NOT NVIDIA

I've had nothing but trouble with nvidia and had nothing but joy with ATI go for it :thumbs:

I wanna spend around £100, maybe a little more. Was looking at an ATI 9700 with 256 RAM. It said double speen SD RAM but isn't SD RAM PC-133 etc ???

NVIDIA GeForce FX, top notch graphics card, I'm running 2 screens at 1024x768 res. Sweet!

What graphics cards have ppl on here got. I get paid on Wednesday and decided to invest in a full tank of petrol and a new AGP 8* graphics card.
