nah i have so much shit building up on ere over the years...formatting will get rid of everything wont it! i need to...cos thibgs like my webcam wont work cos its conflicting with other programs etc...so needs to be done

formatting your drive cos of a virus? talk about a sledgehammer approach!

Your antivirus software should tell you what kind of virus it is picking up, go to symantecs website and do your research on the virus, you may need to download a virus removal tool specific to that virus.

the files could be in the registry, so when rebooting, they are still there :(

sounds like they have a re-producing script so you are not removing them properly.

this is wer it blocks out access to tjhe files but they stay on your computer...also have you tryed searching your registry for the virus:wave:

ok last couple of daysmy computers been running very slow!but it occasionally does so i usually just run scan disk or whatever n it sorts it but today...opening my song file i found like 50 files that i know id never downloaded!n i thought shit they cud be a virus...so i ran my virus checker and it deleted 3765 infected files on my pc!!

and it seemed to be runnin ok again...but soon as i restart my pc they are all back again!! but seems to be more of them..
wtf is goin on im desperate for help! please?
