Is it possibly your provider thats down? Have you tried connecting by clicking dial up network?

Ok people- im shit with computers and cant figure out whats going wrong here.

I have freeserve broadband and a copperjet adsl modem- the usb status light is always green, but the adsl status light sometimes goes red- this obviously kills the internet connection and brings up an error message if i try to reconnect saying to check modem and computer connections-

As far as i can see all connections are fine.

This is an intermittant problem that seems to be more and more regular.

I can sometimes sort it out by killing the mains switch to the computer and modem, turning it back on and restarting the computer

I am also getting really slow connection sometimes, but other times everything works perfect

Anybody got any ideas whats wrong......If I dont reply straight away you will know why lol
