I'm in the same boat - I have a Nokia 7650, but on my old orange sim which hasn't been activated - can send normal messages and take pics, but can't send pics - dunno if I can be bothered to sort it out, I just use bluetooth to put pics onto my pc, or to send it to other phones.

At least bluetooth is free - me and my mate were having a competition at college to see who could get the best photo's of a bunch of retards in the canteen. I got a wicked pic of a guy sleeping in his wheel chair :lol:

but we were basically taking em - and just doing send via bluetooth and the other one recieved it.
