readin the various forums about the batt probs
puttin me off
but its like after a yr later the battery probs likely to start
but been readin bout the firmware buggerin them up too

You can buy a transmitter thats designed for the Ipod from the US.
It lets you tune your Ipod into radio fq! So you can tune your home stereo into your ipod. There illegal in the UK though, so you have to import them. Cool gadget tho.

found forum with details where to buy batteries fr £40 odd quid but is a bugger to fit on 3g models

but u can get ur battery fixed for free within warranty

its 240-250 for the 10gb where ive seen altho int he paper sum dixons in glasgow did them for 200, wait a litlle bit after xmas aparently the prices are meant to drop, u can play solitaire on them too there wicked

U can't just put a normal disc in to upgrade it anyway. Its special small ones. It prob costs about as much to buy the disc as it costs just to buy the larger 1 to start with.

not checked but thought was £200 for 10gb
£300 for 20gb and £400 for 30gb

jus think wud be good for on train n stuff which i take at least once a week n goin to sleep wud be cool
but dunno yet........
maybe pay of credit card first lol

ah good point. get the 10gb then and if u need to u can buy the recharge bit at a later date, i ahve heard storys tho of the battery going after 18 months and then a new 1 has to b brought for like 60 quid

tempted by a 10gb jobby
imo thats enough coz i got alot on me pc n is about that if not more with cdr backups iv got.

my mds r bust n sick of carryin extra mds
mp3 cd player wud be cool alredy got mp3 cds lyin about

or cud jus not buy any of that stuff lol

I don't think theres an official upgrade solution to a larger disk, but I guess in theory whats stopping you opening it up and slapping a larger disk in there?

That aside, they're dead easy to use, small and light - top stuff all in all :thumbs:
