iv been 2 control panel

add/remove

no config option there

where u thinkin ?

Yup you're deffo in express mode -- goto Control Panel

Well maybe the home version is different -- sorry never used it. Do you have a Symantec Liveupdate icon in your Control Panel? If so try in there (your system may be setup for Express updates so you wouldn't get a configure button anyway).

It's like to be the settings in LiveUpdate itself. When you start it click 'Configure' before you click next... you can then specify where to retrieve the settings (it can just use current IE proxy settings) or specify them manually...

liveupdate never works keeps on failing " unable 2 connect 2 host" etc etc

any ideas?
