Think there's a pictures directory where all you're photos and stuff gets dumped. It's in you're ~/ directory. | |

After an hour of trying I made it work. Select get info on the video file in the photos app, then copy the file name into search on the desktop. It then brings up the file icon, drag that to the desktop to make a copy of it, then you can use it however you want | |
