^^ very often that will happen.
You simply remain calm, thank them, ask them for the service cut off date and leave it until the last day.

9/10 times you'll get a dozen phone calls with loads of offers.

then look no further, I can get you free installations, box and half price everything if interested.
an offer only available from Sky Employees

What's the crack with this offer? How much does it cost monthly?

Which part of half price are you struggling with? :look:

:lol: I don't know how much the packages are in the first place. Do I have to get everything? Or could I leave out something like the movies? And how do I sign up to one of them?

I've also got 12 months pre-paid line rental with BT, would this affect the offer?

no, but you have two options;

1, ring up and threaten to leave.
2, cancel and let someone else in the household sign up under their name.

If you do number 2, you'll get bombarded with offers.

Following on from this, I'm just about to move and my sky is also up, if my mrs takes out sky in her name, can she do a 50% off deal again like I did?

I've only ever had Sky so don't know any alternatives, or at least never used any. I don't want to pay the over inflated prices of sky any longer but like the service they offer.

What's the cost effective alternatives, and how do they compare?
