Found it to be hit and miss myself. We had one customer that insisted on using it and its been fine for years on several machines, every other instance I've seen of it has been crap. Found the same with Security Essentials, except doesn't pick up on enough viruses from experience. | |

My aunt has it on her laptop and I had to figure out what was making a relatively new VAIO slow as fuck. | |

Just use Microsoft Security Essentials or Avast. DOn't pay for it | |

I found Norton slowed my machine down quite a bit, granted this was on a Compaq back in 2003 but it ran so much better without it. | |
