Or just download the printer drivers from the net, then when it asks where to find the drivers point it towards this downloaded file.

Are you trying to install a printer?
If so, then go to the printers manufacturer and download their drivers for the printer, which now usually is a self-contained installer. If it's just the drivers (inf files etc) then you can manually 'Add' the printer via the 'Add Printer' wizard under 'Printer and Faxes' menu in Control Panel.

She needs to know where, to tell it to look.

Win. XP.

Do you just want to know where their printer drivers are stored?

What version of Windows is it....

I've read that three times and can't make sense of it.

Going to very brief here as it's completly out of my knowledge. Basically it's not allowing her to select a printer. She clicks on "Windows Printer/Driver" but then it's going in to where the drivers are stored. Anyone know which one to select/file to use?

Thanks.
