Service is smooth and uninterrupted when I was watching.

Thats the TV License side of things - anything battery powered you don't need a license, or if you're a student, your parents address is you permanent residence and they have a license.

But yes, TVCatchup is a completely legal service. They first launched with a recording/PVR service back in 2007 or so, and they got shafted for that, but relaunched end of last year.

i think the law is if youre using a mobile device it goes of your personal home tv licence, but if you were to then plug it in the building it was plugged in at would need a licence

Wait until the 19th Dec, a new law will be in place that legally allows users to view channels from one EU nation in another. TV Catchup have said they'll start allowing non-uk viewers to view their streams :thumbs:

Browse to iphone.tvcatchup.com and watch tv, works ace on wifi! its delayed by about a minute from the realtime tv feed!
