Adobe - automatically connects when I plug my phone in.
It recognises new photos imports them.

Once plugged in, it should come us a drive under My Computer (im assuming you're using windows), then there will be a directory/folder (something like DCIM from what i remember) in there you'll find your photos.

You might have to switch off iTunes automatically starting when you plug it in, it should be in the options somewhere ("open iTunes automatically when iPod is connected" or something similar, under Edit > Preferences > iPod/iPhone, something like that)

If that fails, then try a different USB port as it sounds like it hasn't installed properly.....

edit - wouldn't say Nokia is hassle free data transfer, had a load of problems trying to get an N95 to connect. iPhone on the other hand, no issues what so ever......go figure.

If you put your iPlug in the iSocket, then use the iLead to connect the iPhone to the iBook you can get the iPhotos and see them on the iScreen. iHope people get bored of apple soon and we can have words without the iPrefix again.

Buy a Nokia and have hassle free data transfer.
