I've not seen anything of W7. What are the main new features?

Don't get you?

If it was running any extra debugging code the final would be quicker, it'll make no difference though.

The release candidate is legitimately free until next year.

I'm led to believe it's just about final code and i've certainly not had any problems with it, the only crashes I get are from very early versions of office 2010.

It's worth running until it runs out.

isn't the beta properly free and not illeagal free tho?

Is it worth changing from vista at the moment, or should i just dl it when it's released proper?

The RC works until well into 2010.

It should go gold a month or 2 before the october release date and be available on your local friendly torrent shop.

Should i be downloading the beta while it's free then? (think it's free still)

Microsoft announced it will roll out Windows 7, which will take the place of the unpopular Windows Vista, from October 22.
