Situation is:

I have a laptop without Microsoft Office (Word etc) on. I have a word document saved on my USB flash drive that I want to email to someone from my laptop hotmail account - I don't want to open it at all to email.

If I just attach the file to an email (without opening) will it open there end fine without problems?
