That's the reason i don't use it, the middle wheel on my mouse doesn't work with it, so i can't scroll through pages without using the sidebar.

Minor issue really, but really annoys me, when i did use it however it was very quick admittedly

My HP laptop has a scroll thingy down the right hand side of the pad, "Synaptics Pointing Device", it works fine with Google Chrome. If yours uses the same you might need to update your drivers?

http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/index.html

If you have a spare 30 mins you can read a comic book style story about how and why they've created Chrome.

Yup it's my main browser. Keep giving ie8b2 testing but it keeps letting me down

Ok, just installed it to try it out.

Imported my settings etc from Firefox, and then navigated to a couple of my usual haunts (here for example) :! Bugger me it's quick!!

Why? although the original wording was a bit dodgy it was clearly just copy pasted, what were you expecting them to do with the data?

If you use gmail they already know just about everything about you and could sell that data for millions and millions if they were that sort of company.

Yeah I read about that, but they've since amended their T&Cs.

I didn't as somebody on another forum I was on higlighted some dodgy t&c wording.

Was something along the line of anything you upload using chrome effectively becomes copyright of Google - even your own images

It wouldn't install on my laptop when I tried it!

I just installed it this arvo on my Vista system and all I can say is wow! :!

Runs much faster than Firefox, I think I will definately use it for my daily browser now.

Only thing I don't like about it is that you can't sort bookmarks out by name :o

Looking forward to it being released on the Mac so I can install it on my G4 too!
