There is no such thing as unlimited internet access, of course it is limited. They should say unmetered if they do not cap your downloads. I'm with sky, pay £10 a month and have unmetered access.

I signed up to o2 8mb with free router etc Yesterday.

Have kept in touch with dispatch dates etc for the router and connection. Grand total of £7.50 PCM for up to 8mb! Saving quite a lot on our previous £24 a month bill!!

15gb d/l limit per month at up to 8mb speeds for £17.99 per month.

It's on a monthly contract, but sign up for a year in 1 hit and get the set up / transfer costs and router for free :)

Plus if you say I referred you, I get a bit of cash back, and same if you sign up and refer someone, you get money back too!! :)

Awful company!

Dont ever try and leave them... made me wait 6 weeks until I could get a new provider! 6 weeks with no net killed me lol. Still, I'm on Orange now which ain't a lot better but at least it's free

Wanadoo did that to me too although I was waiting 2 months coz they kept 'forgetting' to cancel.

I use SKY. I get the 6 mix, phone line, free off peak calls and 8MB unlimited broadband for £30 a month. Got a sky plus box off them too along with a router. Changed the router as it was shit but had no probs at all. Wanted a static IP range which i was prepared to pay for but they don't issue them.

I was gonna go on Sky until I found out that I would only be saving £1 a month, it wouldn't be any faster and I would have a limit, whereas I have no limit right now.

They Sky maxi deal looks good. On it's own it is £10 including a router. We can get TV and phone for the same as we are spending at the moment!

Thinking of going on either Virgin or O2 myself.

I've just had a quick look at broadband to see if we can save money.

We've been signed up on Tesco Finest for over a year now, and I think it's around £28 a month. Looks like we're throwing our money away though?!

I jumped on the Sky website to look, and saw that their maxi bb is £10pcm for unlimited use and up to 16mb connection.

I use it mainly for gaming and browsing from a couple of computers.

What is everyone paying for their connection? Is it any good? How much etc?
