in that case, dell or scan.co.uk do very good deals on pre-built pc's. but i'd go for a faster c2d than c2q | |

Far too much hassle for my liking. Its also gonna be a computer my dad uses for work from time to time, so he'd prefer it to be an 'off the shelf' one. | |

you wont need a modem, broadband uses either ethernet or wifi and ethernet at least will be on evry mobo now. 1x1tb is better than 2x500gb. and why quad core? if its for games, C2D is a better waste of money :D (i have quad core, but not enough programs make good use of it) | |

build it yourself mate if you wanna save a few pounds, or get more bang for your buck, few of us can tell you every bit you need for your budget | |
