1) my uncle sells them on for a profit, not me.

I actually only did pay £65 though :)

My mum exchanged the bday money etc that she was olding for vouchers, so i literally parted with £65 cash :D

Umm, somehting like £150 of birthday/xmas money i didnt know i had... £120 trade in for slim ps2, GBA SP, games for both and then something like £40 in loyalty points etc etc

RRP was £310, cost me in fact £65 :)

Buy 2nd hand. Go on AVForums and buy off a respected seller. You'll still have warrenty, and it'll be a LOT cheaper.

I bought my 40gb PS3 for £220 about 6 months ago. I then swapped it for a 60gb with a friend.

Recently, my step-dad bought a 40gb off AVForums also for £200 delivered. Came with 9 months warrenty, and in immaculate condition.

You'd be a mug to buy new IMO...

I heard that the price is fixed at the bottom for PS3's by Sony, so you only get store variations. Best bet is to get a package i'd say.
