Honestly m8, if you really don't have a clue I'd just go back to your m8 and ask him to sort it. If he built it then he should be able to have alook or fix it. | |

i havent got a clue mate all i did was pay for it all and my mate built it for me, trying to find that pin but no luck, where about would it be by the usb ports? | |

Did you get a cd with the motherboard but usually there is a manual and drivers on it?. | |

any ideas where i can get a diagram for my motherboard? its got on the motherboard P4M-915GDI/PDI/GVDI if that helps? | |

No the block connector will be just pushed onto some pins. You will need a diagram for your motherboard. The block itself once removed should have some writing on to tell you which each pin is or where the usual layout starts. | |

just took the cover off, and it looks like the usb ports are all in one block that has been soldered (sp) to the motherboard | |

Could be wired wrong but sometimes this can cause an issue for your motherboard. | |

just had my pc built by my mate, as i havent really got a clue when it comes to this stuff, but i have tried my wireless keyboard and mouse, webcam and phone lead in the usb ports but they dont work. the computer knows its there but for some reason they wont work, any ideas?:boggle::boggle: |
