RAM is really cheap now - You can get decent Kingston memory 2 GB (2x1GB) PC2-5300 DDR2 for under £25 now. | |

If i buy RAM from the US will it work in my laptop? I assume there is no difference whatsoever as it is a hardware level not software elvel, plus it isnt plugged into the mains directly? | |

Had a look on Google and you are right, physical difference in size so wont fit :( | |

Hey y'all, I used to be on top of computer components and what will work with what but I've lsot track now so just want some clarification. |
