TBH, at the price of the home plug devices in my link, you can't really go wrong.

Wireless is great, but isnt a constant wired connection more stable and not to mention more secure?

This will sort ALL your networking problems. I've got my media centre and 360 networked to my router using these.

You could buy a wireless access point which has ethernet ports, it receives a wireless signal from the router and your 360 can use its wired ethernet connection to transmit over it, it wont be the fastest but you will have XBL

aye, I'll just go and have it @ the mrs she's got 10Mb broadband so that should be cool, f.f.s thats annoying

A standard 360 (without mods) will only accept an official xbox 360 wireless adaptor.

They are about £60 in shops.

best option is just to cable it mate. Makes life much cheap, and its quicker too! better for streaming and data transfer.

shit

no chance of wiring it mate I live in a 4story house the wireless router at the bottom and the 360 at the top...!

afaik u have to use the M$ wireless bridge thing or something otherwise it just wont work, because of not having an operating system as such you cant install drivers for it?

Hi guys,

right here's the setup

I am going to get my xbox 360 connected to xbox live gold membership because I was given a free 12 month subscription...

@ my house I have wireless broadband and would be connecting the the 360 to a wireless reciever... although trouble is the reciever has a USB connection - so I am gonna need an adpater of some sort? or can I use the USB ports @ the front to connect?

here is a link below if you don't know what I am on about...
