Sorted it, reinstalled Itunes plus there was some songs that had been deleted that were like nearly 2GB each somehow.

Has synchronisation fucked up somehow, and duplicated all your files?

Might be the version i had or the way i was using it but it all the songs were poorly organised, transferring took forever and there's no option to stop at any point and keep the songs already transferred across.

Why do you say that mate? I've always found iTunes to be a great piece of software

Doesn't help you but i used itunes the other day to transfer songs onto a friends ipod, what a heap of shite that software really is.

I don't use GayTunes myself. I'd imagine in the settings somewhere there's a setting to change the bitrate, or at least something to do with compression. Have a look for that.

Anyway of changing it then? Just looked and the music files on there own through the computer are 7.9GB, but look at them all through Itunes they are 22GB. I'm confused.

Probably got everything compressing at a different bitrate than before.

Recently downloaded the latest Itunes whichever number it is, anyway since then the size of the files in my library are massive. I have a 30GB Ipod and I had only used half of that with everything on there. Now just the music files are 22GB, the movies are 80GB. So its telling me I now need a 130GB Ipod :o |
