Set iTunes to automatically copy the files into it's own directory.
Preferences, the Automatic tab. "Copy music file to iTunes library when adding to library" or something.
iTunes might just be trying to use the tracks straight from the CD.

not forced just what i was used to.

Trying to create a new MP3 CD from and ebay CD;)

Anyway I'm used to doing on this on a mac simple drag and burn perfect for someone with my computer knowledge.
Now been forced to go to itunes on vista and every time I take the ebay CD out it wont play the music says it needs the original file. Is this to itunes way off stopping me being cheap
