yeah speakers on the floor at the min gonna get a couple of speaker stands for the front and wall mounts for the back eventually, but my room is in the process of having a staircase put in amongst other things so will have to wait a bit unfortunetly.

also going to try and tidy the wires up when i wall mount the tv, there is quite a lot of them lol.

media centre pc is really good, i built that one my self with parts off ebay so cost me around 100ish all toghether.

amd xp 64 4000, 1 gig ddr 400 ram, onboard graphics, micro atx motherboard, hyper media case, 5.1 sound card with digital optical tos output (going to amp) and only 80 gig harddrive at the min but going to stick a 320 gig sata in when i get back off hols.

you can make one quite cheap if you know how to.

also got a keyboard off ebay that is small form factor wireless with a built in mouse pretty cool only £20 too.

as for software i run gameex as a front end, ffdshow codecs and vlc for video playback and winamp with a pocket pc remote pluggin so i can control winamp through my pocket pc/mobile.

all works a treat lol.

Its only a PC with media center (free download from the right places). A TV card if you wish to watch tv through it (i prefer not to as its not terribly reliable).
I just use my MCPC to watch my downloaded films which is stored on a central storage device

Looks good
You've certainly got lots of kit, and lots of wires!
Are the wee Sony speakers just on the floor?
