	The R88 can be had for £475 delivered from dixons now. And with the code it knocks £10 off! £465 for that TV is a awesome price!

	R88 is newer, and if your lucky, has a very good panel. 3x hdmi is also good and i wouldnt worry about game mode, its a marketing spin, all it does is darken the picture :lol: Im getting this soon: http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=389617 :)

	As its the same price I think its daft not to go for the newer model when looking between the R74 and the R88. Was your R87 £500? so that includes the VAT and the three years warrenty?

	I woudln't worry about game mode, i'm sure my r87 has game mode anyway but the 3 hdmi's far outweigh any setting like that.

	which one is best? can get both for about £480ish delivered but both look same but have different model numnbers thanks
