No chance your getting 1080p for £500.

The R74 Samsung is a good choice, everyone on here copied me :o

them samsung tv's everyone's buying are good for there price. I read the sound quality isn't that great though

I saw some Bravias for £500 if you could stretch to that.

Next problem being I cant remember where I saw them :lol:

i have got £400 - £450 to spend on a nice flatscreen TV..

here are the list of musts..

over 1000:1 contrast
vga connection so i can use laptop on it
1080p (of whatever it is)
HD Ready

anyideas?
