it will give a better idea than from seeing one or two threads about it!

I'd be willing to bet it's the former of your two suggestions. People don't post when things work how they should, it's just not the done thing

(unless you're All Torque)

Still has a point though! :P

no, Im saying out of those who I do know own one AND post in Geek day I have seen a fair few 'its broken' threads.

For all we know those who dont post in here might have perfectly fine working ones...or all have broken ones!

Indeed, but as it does break, they've made it easy to get them replaced. I lost 2 nights gaming through mine breaking.

I'm not buying a PS3 due to the fact it costs more than i'm willing to pay, and i've yet to be amazed by any games.

No, Im not saying its a big deal, but people were going on about how many problems the PS3 will have, and all that, so just found it funny how many problems there are.

TBH though, if I was spending that much on something I wouldnt want it breaking at all, regardless of how easy it is to get it fixed.

Don't see the big deal though. It caused me minimal hassle as I just swapped it for a new one at Argos.

Out of about 10 people I know with 360's only 2 have had to take them back. Excluding people on here.

Do a poll, i'm curious.

I think about 8 people who post in Geek Day have had xbox 360 failures, nevermind how people on the who site have 360. Its only a small percentage, the only stories you hear about 360s is how they break, not how well they're doing.

When I was asking about if to get an Xbox now or wait for the PS3, and everyone was arguing with John about how the Xbox has few bugs now, blah blah...

Well how many peoples Xbox's have broken recently on here?! It seems everytime I look in there is another post about the damn red lights!
