if the dvd has a downloaded movie on it from the net and its not a wma. file then you will need to download the media centre

you shouldn't need to download anything to watch DVDs on the 360.

Ive watched a few DVDs on mine with no problem. Seems a bit odd. Its not the wrong region DVD is it?

i put in a dvd the other day in my 360, and its on about getting media player.
i dont have xbox live yet so bit of a problem if thats the case.
Any ways of watching them or do u need to download programs?
