whats the url to the site?

Jules

That drop down box also only contains:
High
Medium/High (default)
Medium

I give up with it, screw it

yes your doing it via the slider you need to click on CUSTOM LEVEL

and change the drop down box at the bottom

Jules

The slider only allows as low as medium :(
I reset all the zones and it still only goes to medium (then to medium/high, high)
I also wtill have the irritating problem of all threads in CS showing as being new to me (which I mentioned before) - it has only done this since I cleared temp internet history etc.
PC's = annoying

it might be the security bar beeping at the top.

go into tools, options, security tab, custom level, change the drop down box at the bottom to low and click reset, see if that fixes it

Put it as low as possible (medium) and it still does it

Unticked the "play sounds in website" box and it still does it

Are you using IE?

In my IE6 you can disable sounds from webpages - Tools, Internet Options, Advanced.

Find the 'Multimedia' section and untick 'Play sounds in webpages'

Any better?

there is a setting in explorer in advanced settings that allows you to turn off sounds on web pages if thats any help?

Sound is coming from the speakers and this is the only website I know of where it will do it on every single link, there are some sites where it might beep the first time the site loads but not everytime like in the vid.
The only way to stop it driving me round the bend is to stop whatever music I'm playing and turn my speakers off - not ideal :(

is it just on there website?

it sounds as though its generating an error of some description

AndyKent

Is the sound coming from the speakers or the PC itself?

A Warcraft guild I'm a meber of have their own forum, when I use their forums every link creates a beeping sound which irritates the living bejesus out of me - the admin of the site doesn't know how to disable it and no-one else in the guild get's the problem.
I video'd it on my N80 and hosetd it on youtube so they could see what was going on (video is HERE)

Any ideas how to stop it?
