we have had numerous DVD/CD's that get stuck in the drives, they then have to be sent off to get them out!! think theres to much style gone into them and not enough practicality in terms of hardware/pheripherals etc etc

actually mate, as you own a "reboxed" pc rather than a propper PowerVR mac, there are plenty of virus's out an about for the intel versions (there were even a few for the better powervr systems)...so i would get a anti-virus on there asap!

not a fan of the new intel jobbies, certainly not any faster than a decent G5 and they are full of bugs, but OSX is a nice O/S, alot better than windows any day!

ed - thanks to apples dumbness going to intel, you can run OSX on a x86 (AMD/Intel pc) ;) google for OSX Pc Project

Though, if you do get a Mac with XP on it you truely are a fasion victim as you have taken the man reason for buying a Mac and thrown it in the bin

not had one problem with my Mac since December - software or hardware/build quality.

agreed about the mouse though, but wanted a wireless one anyway so upgraded to a two button one at same time!

yea, good luck with reliability. At work the macs are nothing but trouble, software is sound but they just seem to unreliable in terms of hardware/build quality.

i'd have a custom built PC any day.

mouse is shoot too.

plus point is looks, OS and the music/media/photo menu with the mini remotes

Alreet everyone? Long time no post. Hope you are all good :)

I am well geeked up now - Just bought a new beast of a machine

24" iMac
2.16Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
500gb Hard drive
Nvidia 256mb 7600GT

I can't recommend Macs over Windows enough - 10 times better than shitty windows in every way possible.
