download them again through Limewire, if they're popular tracks then they'll come down in no time.

Better than messing around with that iTunes Shop crap.

Amanda and I use it quite heavily and it's never given us problems. As long as you have your firewall and some anti-virus protection installed you'll be fine.

In fact I think you get a warning come up if Limewire detects that a song has corrupt or infected.

Better than buying them imo

My friend used Limewire and she broke her pc as it got a virus. and when she got it fixed she was told Limewire is really bad for viruses.

Something to do with iTunes protection perhaps? Never paid for a track on there

do what I, and most probably others do on here.

Download and install Limewire. Get your tunes from there. You can then export these into iTunes for use on an iPod etc.

Nope just keeps coming up with the error message that it cant specify the file. I dont get it as it lets me play the songs but wont let me transfer them as if there aint the songs there.

can you browse to that folder and just copy them onto your memory stick?

Highlight the lot, press ctrl C (copy), browse to your memory stick and hit ctrl V (paste)

It says it cant Specify File.. Its baffling me as mark has done it before. Itunes are no help.

If you want to move them to a memory stick then just copy them from the directory they're in. You don't need iTunes to do this.

I dont want to copy them on my ipod...just on to a memory stick. the songs are allready on my ipod but i lost all my songs on the computer, so i now have them back and what to put them on a cd at home so i can have them in the car

if you have iTunes open, and plug an ipod or similar into it, you'll see it appear on the left hand toolbar.

This is where you need to drag them. If it works you'll see them being copied at the top.

When my computer broke i got in touch with itunes to see if there was anything they could do about all my songs. So they told me to go in to advanced options and check for purchased music and they were all there. So they have all now been put in my libary and it lets me play them. Just wont let me copy them accross so i can take them home. but i will try what u suggested. Cheers

sounds like you're trying to access files that have been deleted (when you lost them perhaps).

Go to File, then 'add folder to library'. Browse to where you songs are located and they'll appear in the iTunes library. You can then drag and drop these onto your memory stick

I have managed to download all my purchased songs on itunes after I lost them all. Now I want to move them on to my memory stick so I can bring them home and put them on a cd.. However I keep getting an error messgage coming up saying that they cant find the files path etc etc. I know this can be done as Ive seen it doen before but I dont know what to do.

Any ideas anybody??
