Why make it complicated when simple works, then?

It's cheating at the moment... I'm using a page to forward you to the right page in the cms directory.

I have been on the web searching for how to fix this problem.

My website is structured so that all the files are kept in http://www.windmill-farm.co.uk/cms

However, I need to sort the .htaccess so that when you type in http://www.windmill-farm.co.uk/ you go directly to the /cms/ directory....

I use the Rewrite rule right? I have tried various things and I keep getting 403 error as it's not working
