the whole system :look:

very strange - I just installed Visual Studio the same way that I did on my laptop.

I though that set up the ASPNET user etc.....

this is very odd - im using .Net framework 2.0 and its worked fine on my laptop, ASPNET user is there, but not on my desktop? Odd :|

Yes I do have a web.config file.

Ive got a feeling my .Net install hasnt worked properly.

ill have a play around........

You got a web.config file?

Could be permissions on that? Need to give ASPNET and the IUSR_ and IWAM_ accounts read I think.

found it, it was actually logging them in the event viewer :look: nice

In IIS 5, where are the error logs kept? It in Windows XP.
