Poor comparison. Compare the 20gb Walkman to the iPod 30gb and you'll see the iPod is just, well, better.

ipods are nothing more than a fashion item. geta better mp3 player with more memory if you buy another make

What utter rubbish, iPods are regarded as a cracking piece of kit mainly because of the iTune sofware and it's easy of use. Yes you can get higher storage capacity and more music formats for slightly less money but in terms of an all round package there are very few that can be regarded in the same league as the iPod.

Im just watching Top Gun on my iPod 30gb Video.

It really is the bollocks - in terms of useability and features - nothing comes close. Its totally ergonomic and well thought about.

Top Gun - in really top quality with great sound took up 640MB and I dont think I would have warranted getting the 60GB - ive got over 3000 songs and 2 dvds and still have 13GB left out of 30.

I have a 60gb IPod photo. Lighter than my other 40gb, easier to use, and more bits available for it (car interfaces and whatnot)

i've got a 4th gen ipod and can't fault it either. Not sure why people think they arent any good other than the fact they are ubiquitous :boggle:

Not the shuffle. Ever.
I'd say the fullsize, 30gb over the Nano too. The 30gb is definitely the better value, it even plays movies!
