surely thats the same as SLI tho.......the master will be where you plug the monitor in while the slave just helps to speed up games etc....

Nope SLI is nvidias implementation and Crossfire is ATI's, i'm not exactly sure however about the actual question.

SLI is SLI isnt it? Doesnt matter if you use ATI or Nvidia, u just need two PCI-E x16 ports

Just wondering...
i cant find any article on the net stating whether you can use Crossfire cards in a SLI mobo or SLI cards in a Crossfire mobo.

anyone came across this?
