Nvidia Quadro stuff. I have an NVS 400 which is quad head, won't be suitable for games though, but it was only 40 quid off ebay.

They have newer models I'm sure.

so can anyone suggest 2 cards with dual dvi out. for upto 4 monitors

or a card with 3 or 4 outputs already on?

That's how SLI works, yes. 2 cards, 1 output unless you select otherwise.

Bit of a big one here guys. a few questions... :)

Pricing up Graphics cards for a new system im building, ive fallen behind the times with all this new SLI and Crossfire technology coming out.

Am i right in thinking if i purchase 2 PCI-ex cards both with dual dvi out on them i could set up - up to 4 monitor outputs?

and this SLI/Crossfire stuff only outputs 1 monitor by combining output from both cards? just basically giving you alost 2x power of 1 card to one display?

Whats your view on the ATI 1800 range?
im not bothered about setting it up in crossfire mode im just after a great card for up to 4 outputs. (not that ill be needing that many)
which also has great 3D capabilities for 1 output when used for gaming.

Any help much appreciated!
