guys i have had enough trying to find a motherf'ing BIOS update for my mainboard.

Its an MSI6382E V3, and chipset it s VIA Apollo KT266/333 with VIA VT8366 NB VT8233 SB. any ideas whether i can use a BIOS from another board version ie MSI6382E V1/2? I am desperate to solve my processor woes. my local computer shop have a few rare Athlon 2600XP Mobile CPU's for sale.
