if you download films, then there's a program called peer guardian which blocks loads of ip's from accessing your computer.
i know it's not essentially what you're after, but it will stop film companies hassling myou about why you have their media on your hard drive.

i have one Adaware but thats just cleans them up
and they just come back
is there any programs which stops it all together
